Helsinki Comics Festival is the largest comic-related event in Finland and Northern Europe, organised by the Finnish Comics Society since 1979. The festival is free of charge and the programme consists of a comics fair, interviews, lectures, discussions, exhibitions, workshops, performances, competitions, signings and evening events. The event keeps growing and last year we counted 25,000 visitors...

This is part of the official programme, here's our blurb on Éditions TRIP :

Éditions TRIP (Canada)
Éditions TRIP is a small Canadian publisher of alternative comics that aspires to improve the international visibility of comics from Quebec. Trip publishes experimental works utilizing both new and traditional techniques. A comic book as an art object is also a source of inspiration. Stanley Wany and Marc Tessier will be talking about Éditions TRIP at the festival.
